Catching Up

Whoa, my last post was over two months ago! I've had a very busy summer, but unfortunately, not very much of it has been horse-related. Here's what I've been up to:

I was a bridesmaid in my very good friend Moto's wedding. It was so fun, and I got to return to my homeland of Tennessee for a weekend!

My BFF and fellow horsewoman/Team Awesome member Amy got married, and I was her maid of honor. We spent an alcohol-fueled weekend partying in Las Vegas with all of our closest friends.

Colt learned to canter, and then went back to his owner. I was sad to see him go, but now I can focus on my own two heathen horses.

I struggled through the Glow Run 5K with my friend Keli, her sister, and Johnny. I lost my phone to a storm drain in the street, only to have some awesome girl fish it out for me, MacGuyver-style.

I started riding Moe again, because I'd like to take him to the Harvard Fox Hounds' fall hunter pace in November.

And, of course, work is always busy.
